Summary
This study focuses primarily on national and state level analysis of candidate choice in the 1968 Presidential, gubernatorial, and U.S. Senatorial elections. In addition to extensive socio-economic and demographic data, information was collected on a wide variety of variables including the respondents' national and state party identification, perceived social class, perception of problems they faced, sense of political efficacy and ratings of a range of elected officials.
