While the collection includes a substantial number of items published by Brazilian government programs and departments, the majority are published by regional and national non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The major subject areas covered in this collection include agrarian reform, traditional and modern agricultural methods and techniques, sustainable development, and local organizations and participation.
