- The File (International Festival of Electronic Language) is an event that gathers artistic works in the field of digital and electronic art, and inserts Brazil in the world context of the art and technology. It represents the greatest event of its kind in the Latin America. Organized by by the founders of the festival Paula Perissinoto and Ricardo Barreto who also express in this edition their thoughts, visions and experiences during the first decade of the 21st century in the field of art, science and technology. This anthology presents a panorama of the evolution of the digital medias in the last 10 years in which the FILE has explored intersections between art, science and technology and supports the aesthetic-technological development of new electronic languages with the contribution of a diversified community of artists and thinkers. Moreover, the publication contemplates the universe of experimentations and innovations created for the festival in the field of design graphical and design digital interactive for Internet.
