Study of collective bargaining theories applicable to wage determination in the labour markets of highly unionized worker and monopolystic manufacturing industries - derives a wages equation from a bargaining model, which is tested on statistical tables for manufacturing industries in the USA, and draws conclusions that have implications for income distribution and for the analysis of union-nonunion wage differentials.
