- Summary
- Rodrigo Moya's work was little known until recent years. His premature retirement of photojournalism in late 1967 and the lack of prominence of the author to position their work in agencies, museums, galleries and other artistic and commercial circuits contributed to reinforce this oblivion. The only exhibitions in which he participated as a photographer were 3: "Lágrimas y risas de México", Club Deporteo Israelita with the participation of Manuel Álvarez Bravo, Nacho López, Antonio Reynoso, Héctor García y Bernice Kolko in November of 1958, the other two: "Primera y segunda exposiciones latinoamericanas de fotografía", coordinated by Ruth Lechuga and the grupo fotográfico La Ventana, in 1959 and 1960 respectively. This is the first academic documentary study of his photography.
