- Summary
- The twenty-five women interviewed for this book told their stories, recollected their lives, in the hope that it will help women and children who still struggle to survive. Adult survivors and mothers of children who have been sexually abused stated unequivocally that the responses survivors need and deserve most of all are "I believe you", and "It's not your fault:. They affirmed that children do try to tell. The problem is that too many children are not heard or understood or believed.
