Summary
Memoirs of a Catholic French woman who during the Vichy period, together with her husband, was engaged in resistance activities in Lyon. She was part of a group which distributed the underground Christian journal "Cahiers du Témoignage Chrétien", which also printed articles in favor of the Jews and against antisemitism. Guyon-Belot was imprisoned in 1943 and deported to Ravensbrück. Ch. 9 (pp. 241-275) describes Klaus Barbie's trial in Lyon in which she assisted and was a witness.
