Summary
From the Back Cover: Mr. Larry Barnett Jr. was born on February 16, 1980, in Saginaw, Michigan. He is the only child of Mr. Larry Barnett Sr. and Ms. Diann Johnson-Barnett. A car hit Larry Jr. on April 25, 1986, two months after his sixth birthday. The accident left Larry paralyzed from his neck down. The proper term for this injury is a level c1, c2 spinal cord injury. The car accident left Mr. Barnett with a broken spine at the base of his skull, but it did not break his will. Larry Barnett Jr. went through five months of rehab in Denver Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. When he returned home, he went through a full year of more rehab before returning to school. Larry's parents had to fight before he was allowed to attend public school and attend regular education classes. His parents won that legal battle. Larry Barnett Jr. attended regular classes at Brunkow Elementary, Ricker Middle School, and he graduated from Buena Vista High School at the age of nineteen in 1999. Mr. Barnett is a former eight-time member of the National Honor Society. He was put in the Who's Who Book of American Graduates. He received the True Knight Award when he finished school and the Courage Award at the end of his eleventh-grade year. Larry Jr. is currently a student of Delta College. His major is business administration. He has been running his own corporation for the past two and half years, called 3 DO Stylez LLC. Larry Jr. is a former member of the Think First Program. This organization gave him the chance to speak at Saginaw High School and Bridgeport Middle School. Mr. Barnett also spoke at the Delta College Awards Program. Mr. Barnett is also the founder of the Will on Wheels Technical Ability Center and the End Tymes Soldier. The purpose of these nonprofit organizations is to give all people of all ages, races, and backgrounds a mental and emotional outlet. Although there are many projects under the 3 DO Stylez LLC's umbrella, this is Mr. Barnett's passion. Without God, this wouldn't be possible.
