Summary
If there is an area in which the dispute between vindication of rights to the city (as formulated by Henri Lefebvre) against the mercantilist and repressive nature of the logic of power that bias these rights, this is evident in the city that young people demand. The present book by student architect Yrivarren deals with a scarcely studied reality: the relationship between public spaces and youth in the city of Lima. It specifically deals with the phenomenon of young urban tribes and their activities in the use and transformation of determinate spaces and some buildings in the city. The author analyses the repercussions that these interactions produce in the public space and identifies the main "tribe" zones of the city.
