Summary
A comprehensive analysis of the European nations' resistance against, and collaboration with, the fascist and Nazi ideologies and policies during World War II. States that most of Europe was then united against Western demo-plutocracy and Eastern Bolshevism and many a nation was split between the two camps. Surveys participation in the resistance movements, and in the Waffen SS and other Nazi auxiliary forces, country by country, making scattered references to Jewish resistance, and to collaboration in the extermination of the Jews. Pp. 484-499, "Islam, " discuss Arab fascism, the pro-Nazi camp of Rashid Ali, and Amin al-Husaini's anti-Jewish alliance with the Nazi leaders in 1943.
