- Summary
- Argentine composer Luis Naón (b. La Plata, Argentina 1961) proposed sound installation for the Espacio de Experimentación Sonora (MUAC) sandwiched his works with those of the poet Juan Gelman, with which the artist shares coincidences and creative concerns, this combination arose "Gelmanianas" nine short pieces for cello were presented at the Maison de Posie in Paris. "Parentheses" is an electroacoustic composition that mixes "Gelmanianas" with Gelman's voice reading his poetry and a third type of comment or sounds that are interspersed with the voice and music, the form of these sequences, which serve the double standard and contrast ratio, resulting in a seemingly endless cyclic listening.
