Summary

23 conference papers presented as a step towards a rethinking of copyright and right to copy in the digital age in the arts. This involves dividing the topic into three areas: first, looking at the changes or impact on copyright of the digital age; second, discussing the nature of the property in question since the rights, technologies and the commons are substantially related to culture; and finally there follows a discussion of the differences that can exist between on the one hand the classical conception of users, citizens and the general public who access intellectual works, and on the other the concept of availability.
