However, I am of the opinion that while the motif is correctly named, the artist who drew the piece is more likely to have been Louis-Jean-François Lagrenée, known as the Elder ... In this paper ... I would also like to correlate it with an oil painting that is kept in the Nissim de Camondo Museum in Paris entitled Le sommeil ... currently attributed to Hugues Taraval (1721-1785)."--Page 6, 18.
