Y., about the year 1640, and settled at Aquebogue near Mattituck. The foundation of this work was laid by William A. Hallock, who published his Hallock ancestry in 1866. The same being extended by his nephew, Charles Hallock, to the year 1906. This work is undertaken in this year of Our Lord 1926, by an interested descendant, Lucious H. Hallock.
